TCU/IAM Job Corps Job Training Programs

The TCU/IAM Advanced Training Program offers a special focus on the transportation industry. Training is on an open-entry/open-exit basis and takes an average of 6-12 months to complete. This time frame is flexible and depends primarily on the motivation of the individual and the skills and knowledge he/she possesses.


Training Is Provided in the Followng Areas:

Transportation - Emphasizing freight and passenger railroads, airlines, barge lines and ground transportation systems

Computer Operations - Keyboarding skill development, word processing, spreadsheet and data base applications

Office Communications - Filing, Microsoft Powerpoint and Access, and office etiquette

Business/Consumer Math - Microsoft Excel and 10-key calculator

Job Search Skills - Resume and interview preparation
