Train for the Future

Beginning with just two sites in 1971, TCU/IAM's Manpower Training Department is now contracted to train 380 students nationwide at eight facilities.

TCU/IAM is part of a multi-billion dollar industry involving railroads, mass transit and airline companies. Good employees are needed now! You can be a part of this industry and start receiving a good starting salary, fringe benefits, job security, and a chance for advancement.

TCU/IAM Manpower Training Department has a new Senior Executive Director

TCU/IAM's Dennis O'Malley accepted a position to serve in the office of the TCU/IAM International President. We want to thank Dennis for his many years of service and excellent leadership with the TCU/IAM Advanced Job Corps Training Program.

Diane J. Dettmann has been promoted to the position of Senior Executive Director. Ms. Dettmann has been a part of the TCU/IAM Advanced Job Corps Training Program since 1981 serving in a number of key positions, including Instructor, Lead Instructor, Regional Coordinator and most recently Associate Director. Diane is committed to serving the TCU/IAM Advanced Job Corps Training Program with excellence and the high standard that was established over the past 38 years.

TCU/IAM’s Manpower Training Department administers the Job Corps Advanced Training program at nine facilities nationwide. Overseeing the work of the TCU/IAM department is International Vice President David Steele.
